In 2017, Yves Saint Laurent kicked off the Y collection of fragrances for men with the original Y, followed by Y Eau de Parfum in 2018, Y Live in 2019, Y Eau Fraiche in 2020, Y Le Parfum in 2021, and the new Y Eau de Toilette in 2022. The latest addition comes out in the eye of spring 2023 as Y Eau de Parfum Intense.
According to the brand, Y Eau de Parfum Intense expresses an exhilarating moment of releasing creative energy. The composition, developed by Dominique Ropion, amplifies Y’s signature, described as cool and sensual, by spicing it up with a blend of blue juniper berries. There is fresh Diva lavender from Provence in the heart, together with geranium and other aromatic notes, while the woody base features an overdose of patchouli from Bali.
